Evinrude 4 Horsepower Carburetor 1955-1965 Evinrude 4.5 Hp Outboard Motor???? Help!?

1955-1965 Evinrude 4.5 hp outboard motor???? Help!? - evinrude 4 horsepower carburetor

Hello! My friend has recently stolen his motor boat. He said he had from 1955 to 1965, was a 4.5 hp Evinrude outboard motor. I've tried to search online to find the value, but can not find an Evinrude ® from the time that an engine with 4.5 hp. The engine was in pretty good condition and had the intention of restoring it. He was commissioned by her late grandfather, and then press charges against the more the person that have taken place (because we do know is that ...). I am always available on this machine, and I hope someone here may be a collector or something to me about this? Thank you for your help!

Do not think it makes 4.5 hp Evinrude. Johnson led a mid-30s. Perhaps it was not a 4.5? Do you have a number one?

It is a value, the engine (in this case anyway!). There are not a monetary value, but rather a sentimental one.

Here is a good place for older engines; http://hoodad.fortunecity.com/index2.htm ...

As you say, you know who it was, complaining and support the police. Then get some numbers on the engine and maybe we can know what it is.

Sorry, but there is zero value in this old engine. I can not believe that someone would risk going to jail for driving more than anyone else does. If you know they have what you expect. Go to the police and file a formal complaint against that person. Let the police handle it from there. Or go to the landfill, where you'll find many of these engines are sold for scrap.

From your description, I think that is a 9.5 HP. They stopped production at 1972nd Although there 50 years, many used today. However, the value of the current motor is less than $ 200

Sorry for the loss of their friend. Involve the police as soon as possible, as stated above.

I have boat since 1948 and the collection of old engines, the emphasis on the engine in question and state dependent. This is, without the restoration and sounds like most of the sentimental value because it was his grandfather. Therefore, it is valuable to her friend, but probably not worth more than $ 250, even if it do well in the situation.

Never has a 4.5 hp Evinrude. If your model number, look at the list on the link below for the year it was made.
